Blogidays Day Six: Lace with Grace

So I've talked about lace a lot on here before, but today I had to make a new batch and I thought it could be fun to actually show you the process!

I take zero credit for coming up with this method- it's all Anna Kirby genius. This whole process took just under half an hour to actually do in real time, but I thought a sped-up video might be marginally less boring.

I think the video format is a really cool way to do tutorials, and I had a blast making this- what do you guys think? Helpful?

I'm dashing through this order, which might leave me some time to do a sales set before Christmas... an English saddle video walk-through could be a possibility? Maybe?

Hope everyone is enjoying the season!

  2. Yay!! I'm so glad you did a video tutorial. You also make skiving skiver look way way too easy! (:

  3. Great job on the video! Where do you like to buy the leather that you start out with?

    1. I actually got the leather off eBay a while ago, but I think Melody Snow sells the same stuff through the Unicorn Woman on MH$P and her site. It's a titanium white pliver. :)

  5. Oh my goodness this is soooo helpful. That leather looks awesome- I'm glad you already answered above were you get it. Also, I am sooooo jealous of your skiving abilities. I would have sliced through that in a million places... but I suppose practice makes perfect, and you've definitely had a lot of practice. I'm stoked to try the double sided tape for my next tack adventure!
