Sweet Onion Live: English

Hunter/Jumper was brutal.

By brutal, I mean extremely high caliber and competitive.

Look at that jump! Click on the pic, make it big and look at that jump. Wow.

My little trot fence landed in fifth.

A lot of showers re-used their props and dioramas for the Western and English trail classes, so most of those entries were pretty familiar.

My Arena Trail entry was good enough for a yellow ribbon- an improvement over the Western version!

By this point in the day, I was tired from running around to all my halter classes on top of making the performance entries happen, so I didn't get any pics of the other contenders in the English Games class.

My Stepping Stones set-up earned the Fjord another pink card, despite the crazy reins.

English pleasure had everyone at their best (and some really beautiful dolls!).

I should make myself some SM riders. Love this!

And finally, Other English. If I remember correctly, this was basically a dressage class. I really, really wish I'd gotten a pic of the first place entry; an upper-level dressage set-up with flawless everything, gorgeous horse and tack, just wow.

Even without his bridle numbers (and my brain fart on how an arena is set up...), the Fjord managed to snag second.

His four red ribbons weren't quite enough for a rosette, but I'm more than happy with what he did end up with! Five pink cards and lots of invaluable hints on how to turn those red ribbons blue. :)

That's it for Performance! I have a bunch of random Halter shots I'll just dump all together in the next post to wrap things up.
