Saddle Surgery

The difference is subtle, but the stirrups hang much better now that the stirrup bar is ever so slightly closer to the front of the saddle. 

It was a pretty invasive procedure...


...but once I get some nailheads in there, the saddle will be done!

  2. Wow! You were right. I thought the saddle was lovely before, but you were right, those few millimeters made all the difference! Beautiful saddle. :)

  3. I think the surgeon may have slipped. The horse appears to have been an unintended victim of the procedure.

  4. I can definitely understand about it being worth it to fix something if you know it's going to bug you. I've definitely been faced with that before in tack and customizing, and while it can be a pain to fix things it's ultimately worth it. The saddle looks great!
